If you ask me where’s the best Tapas bar EVER I will tell you without hesitate La Taberna de Ali Baba.

This place is awesome I discovered it because I actually did the web page of them and since then I’m every week drinking and eating the best tapas!

Ali Baba is a really Spanish restaurant, nothing to compare with the Tapas places that you can find in the city center that are always busy with tourist.

They have 16 years of experience making this place the best in many guides. They also speak English (not fluent but enough).

The restaurant is 2 floors more or less 100 persons sitting I guess and the decoration is AWESOME!, I talked to the owner and he explained to me that there’s some objects that there are more than 400 years old! there’s no price for that items!

The atmosphere is absolutely great! full of people of all ages, young people mostly that goes there to drink and eat a lot! is easy to end up partying with people from there since every body there is really happy!

I recommend to you the Menú of Tapas Ali Baba, I think it cost 48€ is for 4 persons (12€ person!!) and you will have more than enough!

To go there is really easy since the Blue Metro Line 5 (Horta) is just 100m around the corner (see map):

• Don’t use an agency, they want to charge for everything, a fake contract, insurance etc…
• Use your friends, if you have friends already there, use them!!
• Rooms from 250 until 450 is ok not so expensive, if it’s more probably is an agency
• Apartments from 600 until 1000 is ok not so expensive, if it’s more probably is an agency

If you would like to do an internship in Barcelona, the best way to start is to search for companies on the internet. Make a list of companies which you find interesting and start contacting them. Keep in mind that if you contact them by email 8 of the 10 companies will not reply, or some will reply months later. Therefore, a better way to start is to call companies, find out if they are interested and if so, send your CV and application letter.
For an English internship it is recommended to contact international companies as Spanish people may have difficulties with the English language.

CV and application letter

Depending if you would like to do your internship in Spanish, English or an other language, write your CV and application letter in the relevant language. Write clearly in the application letter what you are studying or have studied, your strenghts, and why you would like to work with that certain company. Keep in mind that you use the right lay out for that certain language.
Regarding to your CV, it has to be clear but short. Try if you can write it on just one paper. Make it organised, and very important, no spelling mistakes! Read the final version over and over and let someone else check it as well to make sure that there are no mistakes in it. It has to look professional.
